Since our inception from a modest office in Singapore, TUFF has grown to become a leading global Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor. We provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions worldwide, driving industry standards in the Oil & Gas, Marine, and Infrastructure sectors. With a vast network of over 30 in-house consultants and an expansive technical team of more than 150 professionals, we handle each project phase from conceptual design to maintenance with precision and adaptability.

2011

  • Tuff Offshore established in Singapore as an independent company.

2014-2016

  • International offices set up in India and Singapore
  • Awarded its first complete EPCIC FPSO project.
  • Commence the FPSO Cyrus project in Yiu Lian dockyard, Shenzhen, China.
  • Cyrus project Topside Module  completed and  installed in Drydock World, Dubai, UAE.

2017

  • Cyrus FPSO Project  concluded and achieved first oil in  Q1 2017
  • Awarded Maafaru International Airport EPCIC

2018

  • Completion of EPC and testing of Maafaru International Airport.
  • Moved into newly constructed Engineering
Office in India.

2019

  • Handover of Maafaru International Airport
  • Executed a large FEED under a design competition for 2 FSOs (1 processing, 1  storage) in Qatar for NOC. Over 400,000 BOPD processing capacity of wet crude.
  • Feasibility Study for FPSO’s  for oil field
in Angola.
  • Development of New Hull Design for FPSO tender for Nigeria

2020

  • Executed revised Preliminary Concept Study, Front End Engineering (FEED), Procurement Services for 2 FSO’s in Qatar for NOC.
  • Completed Engineering for an FPSO project GDM- Topsides 27,000 MT with major processing capacities for Oil, Gas and Produced water. 200 POB LQ.

2021 - 2024

  • Established a subsidiary office in Qingdao China.
  • Incorporated a new business sector in the windfarm technology space.
  • Established an office in Dubai (UAE)
  • Commenced conditional Assessment on FPSO Polvo for BW Energy, followed by upgrade engineering and procurement services.
  • Engineering services and Construction supervision followed by Offshore Hookup commissioning support for FPSO FIRENZE for Saipem
  • Construction Supervision, Engineering and Project Controls for Tango FLNG and Excaliber FSU

Natarajan Paulraj

CEO

Paul has 30 plus years of industry experience in maritime industries, and Oil & Gas. As a former member of the senior executive team in Bumi Armada Berhad, he contributed towards their business success peak, where the company saw its revenues grow more than tenfold. He has previously worked alongside industry leading companies such as Prosafe, Modec and Saipem

Ganesh Paulraj

Managing Director

With over 25 years of experience in project services management in engineering, marine, infrastructure, and offshore oil & gas sectors, Ganesh brings strategic planning and development know-how to TUFF’s projects. Through his expertise, he develops strategies across marketing, sales, and product development for the company.

Vinod Pillai

COO

Vinod is a recognized leader in Oil & Gas, notably in EPCIC/Project Management of floater conversions with a strong background on the Operations & Maintenance(O&M) of new and performing assets. He has 30 plus years of experience in the Oil and Gas and Marine industries. Previously held senior positions in the offshore energy segment of companies like SBM, Modec, Prosafe, BWO & Bumi Armada.

Mahalakshmi

Senior VP, HR, Finance and Legal

Maha holds a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. With a background as a Business Development Manager at an audit firm, Financial Controller at an energy firm in London, and Marine Business Controller at Bureau Veritas, she brings significant expertise to TUFF Offshore Engineering Services Pte Ltd. Her role includes overseeing financial operations, risk analysis, and solution implementation, along with maintaining financial reports and business plans.

Shannbhagg

Senior VP, EPC & Engineering

Shannbhagg has 30 plus years of global experience in delivery of major EPC and Engineering projects of companies including Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Petrobras, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, ONGC etc. His background includes senior management or project management roles with industry leaders like Larsen & Toubro, McDermott, Worley and Aker Solutions, focusing on end-end execution of major projects related to upstream (floating & fixed), downstream, refinery units, chemical, storage terminals, jetties etc.

Gunaseelan Sive

VP, Supply Chain and Contracts

Guna is a seasoned professional with nine years of extensive experience across the Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Energy sectors. His expertise centers on contract review, drafting, negotiations, and legal proceedings. Additionally, he leads sales, marketing, and business development efforts, focusing on bids, tenders, and proposal development for the organization.

Sridhar Seshadri

VP, Procurement

With over thirty years in Procurement and Contracts management, Sridhar Seshadri has played pivotal roles in complex projects across major E&P and EPC companies like Fluor Corporation, Samsung Engineering, and Cairn India. His international experience spans North America, South Korea, West Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on the Oil & Gas, Mineral Processing, and Infrastructure sectors.

Vijay Ethiraj

VP, PROJECT EXECUTION

Vijay brings 32 plus years of experience in the Marine, Oil, and Gas industry. He has extensive experience in EPC projects, covering phases from pre-planning to decommissioning. Vijay has commanded tankers of all sizes and has held roles such as Project Manager and Construction Manager. He has worked with major clients like Eni, Exmar, BW Energy, Petronas, and Teekay, earning various commendations.

Zulkifli

VP Bids, Tenders and Project Controls

Zulkifli brings over 20 years of experience in FPSO project estimation and management, including CAPEX & OPEX development, cost engineering, and contract negotiations for EPC Floating production systems. He has extensively managed project controls, cost estimation, budgeting, and contractual activities to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Ravee

VP, HSEQ

Ravee is a seasoned HSEQ Executive with 40 plus years of experience in enhancing operational safety and environmental compliance. He has successfully led safety programs, ISO certifications, and emergency training initiatives, fostering a culture that integrates HSEQ processes into core operations while ensuring compliance with international standards.

Tun

VP, CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING

Tun has over 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He has worked as a Construction & Commissioning Engineer at Keppel Shipyard and PPL Shipyard, and as a Senior Engineer at Gulf Drilling International (GDI) and Bumi Armada Bhd (BAB). Tun has led onshore and offshore construction and commissioning activities, including Hook Up Installation and Commissioning of FPSO projects.
