Project Overview

The FPSO Cyrus project, owned by a National Oil Company, involved the conversion and life extension of a donor vessel to serve as the first FPSO in the Persian Gulf region. The project focused on overcoming technological and logistical challenges to meet tight timelines.

Project Details

The FPSO Cyrus project required extensive refurbishment and conversion of the donor vessel, as well as integration of topside modules from various international vendors. The donor vessel was refurbished and life extended, with topside modules integrated upon arrival in the UAE. Final commissioning activities were conducted before the vessel was sailed to the field for offshore installation.
